Once again the Oakworth Club Dinner was an event to look forward, serving two purposes - firstly to have a really good night out together with some good food and drink. Secondly its the club's chance to say thank you to a lot of people for their hard work and of course to hand out some prizes. In addition to the usual batting, bowling, fielding, etc we also have other prizes, see below. This year the event was again staged at KRUFC and was held on Friday 16th November 2007.

The Simon Beetham Memorial Trophy: This is a Cup given for the Junior Clubman of the Year, in memory of the late Simon Beetham, an Oakworth junior of the early 1980s. The deserved 2007 winner is Scott Hartley.

The Frank Woodward Memorial Trophy: For the best performance by a player aged u21, in memory of Frank Woodward, a past player, Secretary and long-serving committee member. This year the award is shared going to two highly promising young cricketers: Brannan Lawn for an amazing first ever century in a Third XI match vs Riddlesden lls and Greig Hudson for his astonishing 8 wicket haul against Denholme lls, also for the Third XI.

The William Adams Plate: Given by the Chairman to any club member for any good purpose, in memory of perhaps Oakworth's greatest Captain from the Edwardian era. This year the Chairman has chosen our first ever Cowling Cup winning Captain Stevie Powell  as the deserving recipient.
